Grooms can sometimes get a bit sidelined in the wedding planning process. Over the last couple of years I have seen more and more grooms take a firmer role is the decision making I blame it on don't tell the bride!

Valentines Craft Project

Once again I have left it too late to order a professionally made personalised valentines card for my boy. So this year I have decided to get in touch with inner craft goddess and make my other half a valentines card. Obviously I can't show you what I have planned because it would spoil the surprise, and I haven't got a freaking clue what I'm going to do.

This morning I have done what I do best in times of crisis, look on YouTube for a bit of inspiration...

(I have a thing for buttons so LOOOVE this card)

I will be heading down to my local high street to buy craft bits after lunch. WHSmiths, Paperchase, John Lewis and Rymans are my favorite high street hunts for craft bits but if you are lucky enough to get to a Hobbycraft near by you'll find everything you need and more.

Happy Valentines

Winter Wonderland

Looking out of my window today I am starting to think maybe I should have a full on winter wedding. October is very much 50/50 when it comes to the weather, you're never quite sure which season you're going to get.

I put this suggestion to my hubby to be, get the full on evil eye so settle for fantasy winter wedding instead...just a few ideas from my winter wedding style file

Picture credits: Hunters, ASOS, Amazon, Monsoon, Net-A-Porter and NOTHS

I am a huge fan of short dresses and friends and family would be very surprised if I walk down aisle in anything below my calf. But I just LOVE I repeat LOVE this dress by Temperley London called Grace and I think it is the perfect winter dress especially if you didn't want to wear a jacket or wrap. White Hunters wellingtons need I say more I would be tempted to rock these gorgeous things even if it wasn't snowing.

The tiara aka head candy in my world is by Yarwood-White on NOTHS it is just gorgeous. There is something about a bit of sparkle and white that just work so well.

Ear muffs (ASOS) are just so cute and would look way too cute on little flowers girls or bridesmaids.

Feather shrug Monsoon, Fur jacket by Matthew Williamson on Net a porter and this umbrella was from Amazon but you can find them in most department stores.

So if your still at a lost as to what to buy that special man in your life for Christmas, I have done a little research for you.  I have been reliably informed by the men in my life that they would be over the moon to unwrap any of these goodies this Christmas.

I am sure you don't need me to tell, but your cutting it a bit fine! especially if you're going to be ordering online. To avoid playing delivery roulette I think its time to hit the streets and get shopping
